Seriously. Wherever it’s due.
If you see some kitted out, wide body Civic and the kit is installed well with a respectable paint job. Respect that.
Seriously. Respect the hustle. Respect the effort. Use your better judgment and actively work to improve your ability to tell the difference between those doing the best they can with what they’ve got and the lazy, full-of-shit, mouth-breathers.
We’re not all into the same things. It’s why we do what we do.
Legit gearheads know the difference between laziness and effort, between cheap and frugal.
Like you’ve never tried a shortcut, got in over your head, or had to make do until payday.
If you don’t know the backstory—the whole story—you’re no different than the last choad who judged you unfairly. And given the way the rest of the world feels about modified vehicle values, that’s karma you do not want to be banking.
Save the snide remarks for the cocky mouth breathers who don’t put in the time (or their own time). Or who willfully make their shit unsafe and expect the rest of us to accept their making us all look like dangerous idiots.
Just because you’re not into it doesn’t mean it’s stupid. But running your mouth talking shit about a gearheads project when they’ve obviously done the work means you are.
