Gearbox Magazine was borne out of a desire to, once and for all, publish the DSM magazine Mitsubishi enthusiasts wanted—but never got—for over a decade. We launched in September 2009 as Mitsubishi Gearbox Magazine, but quickly evolved to include all other brands.
Years of revolving staff and evolving mission identities led to an unsustainable—and consistently frustrating—ownership experience. The work life parallel pursuit was heating up. First we lost the beat. Then we lost the vision. I unofficially retired GBXM in late 2016.
Gearbox Magazine will be back.
