I’m under a lot of pressure right now. GBXM #3 is due before next week and I’ve still got about 10,000 words to write for it. On top of that, I still haven’t settled on a way to charge for subscriptions to the magazine, which was supposed to be in place by this morning, so I guess that’s got to get pushed back. Then I have to get my taxes done and filed, and I already know we’re gonna come up short this year. Oh yeah, and I need to button up Rocinante in preparation for a trail run on Saturday.
This one is going to be quick. I’ve got to get shit done this week. And I’m working from a new location today (see right), which is throwing off my game. Oy!
TYPING LIKE A MAD MAN
Here’s a look at what I’ve accomplished in the last three days:
- 15,000 words already written for GBXM #3. This is going to be the biggest issue yet.
QUESTION OF THE DAY: PENMANSHIFT?
Penmanshift was built around a simple idea: Give people who want to write about cars for a living a solid foundation upon which to build those dreams. In the end, Banovsky and I got too busy IRL to do more than beta test it, and it’s sat on a back burner ever since. This morning, it occurred to me I might as well share it all here on the site where people can see it.
Penmanshift was built to be three months long. That’s roughly 12 weeks. I think I might start sharing a little bit each month. Hopefully, it will help someone launch a dream. Maybe it will give someone the confidence to join our team.
Any thoughts out there either way?
