COMING SOON: a major announcement
We are nothing without the support of our friends, families, and partners.
It’s been two weeks since I last logged into the site to do anything.
The Show and Expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 1.
Produced by Cascadia Events, in partnership with the Cascade Bicycle Show, the Seattle Bike Show offers over 150 exhibitors to entice participants with new gear, expert demos, or opportunities to speak with experts and advocates.
The Seattle Bike Show costs $10 for persons over the age of 17, with those under 17 given free admittance.
Hear from speakers such as Bob Roll, former professional cyclist, and Craig Undeem, owner of Cycle University, or head to the outdoor demo zone where vendors will be showing their newest products and you get a hands-on experience.
New this year is the ‘Dirt Zone’, a pump track for vendors of mountain and single track gear can showcase their products with expert rider demos.
The Travel, Trip and Adventure Expo not only offers retail specials only available at the Expo, but will also be offering expert discussions, over 100 exhibitors, and a beer and wine garden for those over 21.
Take your turn on a zip line or watch canoe and kayak experts take on the Whitewater Demo Pool.
Whether you are an enthusiast of biking, hiking, running, water-based sports, or outdoors exploits head out to CenturyLink Field for the dual presentation of the Seattle Bike Show and the Seattle Travel, Trips and Adventure Expo, this weekend only!

Mind you, there is a huge double standard when considering small cars versus motorcycles, which also carry the maximum of two people – if that capacity at all. Here is a vehicle that NEVER has to have two or more people within the vehicle to use the HIGH OCCUPANCY lanes. Here is a vehicle that will always be able to use the I – 405 HOV lanes without additional fees, even when occupancy is not full.
NEVER LEAVE BETA
There’s been a lot going on in the last couple weeks. I got back from the Buschur Racing Shootout and a whirlwind lap of Lake Erie (clockwise, through Canada), test drove my JDM dream Delica, and then promptly swapped engines between a pair of 25-year old Pajeros in the Phoenix heat.
Deanna and I are really cranking on things behind the scenes in preparation for incorporation as a non-profit right around the first of the year. We’ve been working on business and content plans, editorial calendars and program development (currently at least FIVE gearhead programs in the works), and of course, another site remodel to make sure that, when we interview you, you look your best. In the world of the outdoors, there’s two kinds of photographers: those with DSLR’s who head in with their tripods, accessories, and 18 batteries, and there’s those that hike in with a point-and-shoot or their cell phones.

None shall pass. (All must pass.)
